Salford can be a great place to live, and local residents contribute so much to our communities. Of course, it could be so much better, and Salford Conservatives are committed to making sure that the whole of Salford is a better place to live and to work. If you share our optimism for the City, why not get involved and join the Party?

Conservatives are the Party on the up in Salford, with more members, more events and increasing numbers of Councillors. Only the Conservatives can provide the change that Salford needs - from Little Hulton and Cadishead to Broughton and Salford Quays.

The Labour Party has taken local residents for granted and let Salford down. The maternity unit at Hope Hospital is closing down. St George’s High School in Walkden is set to be shut. Our Council Tax spirals further out of control every year. Our roads and pavements have suffered from decades of underinvestment. The Council does not have the common-sense policies to cut down on crime and anti-social behaviour. Our public transport needs improving but all Labour can think of is to place a huge debt on the heads of taxpayers and introduce a tax on travelling into work. Salford could be doing so much better.

Only the Conservatives can provide the change that Salford needs.

If you want to be part of that change, click here to join the Conservative Party.

Your local Conservatives hold regular social and political events, and you can get actively involved in campaigning to ensure that Conservatives continue to grow in strength in Parliament and in the Council Chamber.

Membership costs just £25 per annum, or only £5 if you are 22 and under. We look forward to welcoming you to the Conservatives!
