Salford Conservatives were yesterday delighted to welcome Conservative Party leader David Cameron and Shadow Home Secretary David Davis to Salford.
Cameron visited Salford Civic Centre in Swinton to deliver a keynote speech on crime and anti-social behaviour. You can read the full speech here. He also met with local community activists and Salford’s Conservative Councillors and expressed his delight at being able to visit Salford.
Cameron and Davis then visited Salford Lads’ Club in Ordsall, touring the building and meeting with volunteers. He said:
“The Salford Lads Club is a really good example of social enterprise. It does a very good job for the community.”
