A Statement By Councillor Karen Garrido, Leader of the Opposition
We have been saying for a while that Cllr John Warmisham should go. He has during his stewardship of children’s services made some very bad decisions, whether this is in relation to looking after our children at risk or closing good schools. We have been calling for his resignation for sometime and we now feel the time has come for him to take the honourable course of action and resign his position. In the event of him not resigning Cllr Merry must act as a leader and take the only correct course of action by replacing Cllr Warmisham immediately.
