I am very pleased to read of the proposed Conservative led initiative to preserve Salford assets for the benefit of the PEOPLE of the City.
Under Labour, Salford has suffered greatly from a complete lack of “joined up” statagies for long term prosperity.Why any one votes for Labour is a complete mystery.

Bloated labour must step aside , they’ve had to much gravy with not much to show for it , no point crying now you’ve had your chance and failed ,its ok i don’t expect you give me a straight answer to the few residents in the Irlam and Cadishead who you showed contempt for by trying to forget the facts they asked for over the years and no straight answers,while labour re-construction steam rollers on.. its ok don’t worry i have the rest of my life to remember your excuses in giving me the run around with your convoluted dross.

I feel Hope hospital maternity is and excellent unit and is a credit 2 salford..many of my friends have had there babies there and i am due to have mine shortly, i have been referred there an umber of times since i have been pregnant and they have gave me a 110% everytime, i dont want to be travelling to other hosptals out of my way! its scary enough 2 have thought of having a first child but having to worry about travelling is a hassel myself or other pregnant people dont need! Shouldnt pregnant women and mothers have there views over this and get to choose what happens, not people like Hazel Blears and the labour people who dont have children of there own and dont know what it is like!..so as far as i am concerned hope hospital is the best hospital i have ever attened and will be giving them my full support and as for the labour goverment there is more important things to be worrying about in salford than a great maternity unit that does a fantastic job!..many thanks x

Just to add to those points made ..I think more help and tax breaks for people who are over the age of 65 for whom retirement will mean poverty after many hard years working to save for retirement

How can any Goverment Replace lost Manufacturing Industries and the jobs that went with them, For 1 job lost in any factory or Industry it means other jobs are lost in the factories that are in the surply chain. Prediction ! Walkden town center will become a ghost town as far as small shops are concerned, they will all close,the writing is on the wall if you care to look.
All the bail-outs handed out is waisted money, this money should have gone to create jobs by rebuilding Infastructsure
Railway Improvement (helping to rid congestion on the roads)is the first and most Obvious one
